Beating the Competition

In order to make money you must have a decent product and something that is in demand. Obviously the most sought after products will also be the most competitively priced as people try to gain a share of the market. If you can make your product different from the competition or offer a package or deal that the other sellers dont you will increase your chances of selling.

One very effective technique for achieving this is to offer free postage therefore making your price a "what you see is what you pay" price. If there are two similar products at a similar price then the buyer will always choose the free postage option provided your reputation is good. You can also offer a free gift or accessory to entice the buyer. Offering to dispatch your goods quickly is also a bonus provided you can deliver on this promise.
